We do have fun!

At Samhällsvetarkåren we work with many difficult and important questions, but we also have fun! We plan events, big and small, to welcome new students to the faculty, thank our active members and make the student experience more enjoyable for all our members. If you are interested in events, you can become active in a specific project group or join the event committee.​

The deputy event coordinator's main task is to help the event coordinator. As Vice Event, you support the event coordinator in the planning and execution of events and participate in meetings with the event committee. The deputy event coordinator is a trustee and is elected by the council for a term of one year. Vice Event also has special responsibility for the annual Battle of Conscience event. The Battle of Conscience is an event organized by the student union that includes all student union sections and program associations where they compete in a tournament, the event ends with a big after party!

The time commitment can often be decided together with the event coordinator depending on how much time you have free. A minimum of 5 hours per week is required to complete the basic work involved in the role.
