​The Nominating Council consists of one chairperson, four members and two alternates. The Nominating Council prepares the elections to positions of trust that are carried out by the council. This means that they handle and review candidacies, through collection, reading, interviews and references. They then nominate whoever they think would do the job well. The Nominating Council also has a responsibility to ensure that the nominations are representative and equal. Read more about this position in the by-laws.
