Fulltimers

The fulltimers are students who take a one-year break from their studies and work full time at the student union. There are five full time positions: three presidials and two coordinators.
The Event coordinator is the only fulltimer role which can be held by a non-Swedish-speaking student.
President
The President of the student union is responsible for coordinating the fulltimers and the political work of the student union. Besides, the President is also the media spokesperson for the student union and represents the union at ceremonial occasions. The President position is held by one of the presidials (Pres. uni, Pres. stu, or Pres. fak), and the other two presidials are Vice Presidents.
Presidial responsible for General University Matters (Pres. uni)
The Presidial responsible for General University Matters (pres.uni) is accountable for ensuring the quality assurance of education at the faculty. Additionally, pres.uni oversees the political advocacy undertaken at the university. This entails maintaining communication with the Lund University Student Union (LUS) and collaborating closely with other student unions in Lund to advocate for student interests at the university level. As such, pres.uni holds a seat in the presidium (OK) of LUS and serves as a representative in LUS Ting. Moreover, pres.uni is responsible for coordinating the union's board and ensuring the execution of their duties.
Presidial responsible for Student Welfare Matters (Pres. stu)
The Presidial responsible for Student Welfare Matters (pres.stu) is tasked with ensuring that the students' well-being at the faculty is as optimal as possible. In its role, pres.stu is involved in the gender equality work at the faculty. Pres.stu is responsible for Studentlund and therefore serves as the representative to the student unions and nations in the Studentlund work. Additionally, pres.stu is the one responsible for the financial management of the union's economy and ensures that the budget for the operational year is maintained. Pres.stu also holds responsibility for the union's national policies and works towards our national umbrella organization SFS (Swedish National Union of Students), including representing the union at the SFS general council held once a year.
Presidial responsible for General Faculty Matters (Pres. fak)
The Presidial responsible for General Faculty Matters (pres.fak) acts as the union's representative towards the faculty. It falls upon pres.fak to ensure that the faculty's overarching strategic endeavors prioritize students in their decision-making processes. In the capacity of pres.fak, you represent the union within the faculty's governing body, maintain regular communication with department heads through participation in the council of heads, and contribute to various local projects. Pres.fak also serves as the principal student welfare officer for the faculty, ensuring that the physical work environment is optimized. Furthermore, pres.fak coordinates internal operations such as the general assembly, student representative recruitment, and the management of student representatives and their councils.
Event Coordinator
The Event Coordinator primarily focuses on organizing the union's social events. This includes welcoming new students to the faculty with a novice period and "Slaget om Samvetet," increasing interest in becoming active members, and overseeing the union's appreciation activities. One of the Event Coordinator's key responsibilities is to arrange Samhällsvetarbalen alongside their project group. If there's interest, the Event Coordinator may also organize Tandem.
Labour Market Coordinator
The primary responsibility of the Labour Market Coordinator is to connect students from the faculties with the job market. This is primarily achieved through organizing an annual job fair (SAMarbete) in the spring. To assist in the organization of SAMarbete, the employment coordinator has a project group at their disposal. In addition to this, they organize various events such as lectures, workshops, panel discussions, and maintain contact with the alumni network.
