Summons to the Extraordinary Section Meeting
of the Interdisciplinary Section PLUTO

If you are studying under PLUTO's educational mandate (see the list of programmes below), and if you are a member of the Social Sciences Student Union, you have a right to vote and to candidate to vacant positions at the Section Meeting!

The deadline to candidate is Friday, the 8th of May at 23:59. 
If you miss the deadline to candidate via the form and are interested in vacant positions, email pres.fak@samvetet.lu.se. 
The following positions are vacant and open for candidacy:
The Presidium:

Documentarian (Board Position)
The Education Committee:
  • Chair of the Education Committee and Study Council (Board Position)
Labour Market Committee:
  • Chair of the Labour Market Committee (Board Position)
Public Relations Committee:
  • Chair of the Public Relations Committee (Board Position)
Social Committee:
  • The Chair of the Social Committee (Board Position) 
Elections Committee:
  • The Chair of the Elections Committee 
  • Alternate Chair of the Elections Committee​
PLUTO is the Interdisciplinary section of the Social Sciences Student Union. PLUTO's purpose is to support, represent, and build a community for the increasing number of students studying interdisciplinary social science programs at Lund University.
This includes the students studying in the: 
  • the Bachelor’s Program in Development Studies,
  • the Bachelor’s Program in Urban Planning,
  • the Master’s Program in Human Geography,
  • the Master’s Program in Human Ecology,
  • the Master’s Program LUMID,
  • the Master’s Program in Society and Politics of the Contemporary Middle East,
  • the Master’s Program in Development Studies,
  • the Master’s  Program in Global Studies,
  • the Master’s Program in Social Scientific Data Analysis,
  • the Master’s Program in Social Studies of Gender,
  • and all independent courses at the Department of Human Geography, the Graduate School, and the International Office.

Statutes

The statutes regulate the structure and processes by which PLUTO functions. 
Note that PLUTO's statutes are only available in English.
