The Assembly is the Social Sciences Student Union’s highest decision-making body
The Assembly, or fullmäktige in Swedish, consists of 21 members elected by the Social Sciences Student Union's members and sections to, for one academic year, make decisions on behalf of the members of the student union in its most important matters. The Assembly discusses and decides on the organisation and rules of the student union, the direction of its operations and finances, establishes the student union's opinions and the focus of its advocacy, conducts elections to positions of trust, and looks at the initiatives and errands that are submitted by members of the student union.
MeetingsThe Assembly convenes at least 2 times per semester. Meetings are held with English as the working language.
The next Assembly meeting takes place on 6 November, at 18:00 in Palaestra auditorium. All members of the Social Sciences Student Union are welcome to attend and partake in the discussions. The documents for the meeting will be published on 1 December, and can then be found via the button below.

See the form for information about cut-off points in the recruitment process. ErrandsIs there an errand you would like the Assembly to discuss? As a member, you have the right to send in motions and discussion items for the Assembly. A motion is a proposal for a decision, while a discussion point raises a question you want the Assembly to discuss. Motions must be submitted to the Assembly presidium no later than 10 business days before the meeting, and are responded to in writing by the Board of the Assembly. We encourage you to follow the student union's Motion's Template. Make sure that your suggestion for decision, i.e. your move, is clearly stated. Discussion points may be submitted until 6 business days before the meeting. Please state your question clearly, and we encourage you to write a brief background as to why you wish for the question to be raised. You can find more information on the deadlines for submitting errands in the summons for the Assembly's next meeting. Send your errand to [email protected]! |
